JOB BRIEF

As a Senior Business Development Professional, you will use a combination of market research, networking, and outreach, to strategically identify and contact qualified leads. Through phone calls, social media, and emails, with potential clients, you teach prospective clients what our organization can offer them. Using your excellent communication skills and friendly personality, you connect with people in the industry and expand our company's profile in the market. You track these interactions in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. You get significant compensation from turning leads into qualified prospects to drive sales opportunities.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience developing leads from marketing, events & social media campaigns and meeting sales quotas. If you are ambitious, motivated, and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

  • A good understanding of business and experience in using sales techniquesto identify opportunities for sales/improvement or new ways to achieve objectives.
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including outbound calls)
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Experience in Healthcare, Compliance, or B2B SaaS a plus
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to deliver results and exceed KPI's
  • Strong time management and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through phone calls, emails, and social media
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
  • Report to Manager on (daily/weekly/monthly) results
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
